For 15 years, Mark Pulman worked as a Retail and Multifamily broker in the Western United States, completing more than $2 Billion in acquisitions and dispositions. During that time, Mark invested several million dollars into assets as a Limited Partner. As those post Great Recession investments in Multifamily properties generated respectable gains, Mark and his family office needed to acquire assets for their personal portfolio.
As new equity funds were raised throughout the beginning of the economic boom in 2016, Mark’s personal investment needs coincided with those of large institutions and high net worth family offices across the country. With increased market competition, he saw that it became increasingly more difficult to place equity efficiently.
This climate created an opportunity to add value to Mark’s personal portfolio as well as the institutions he has maintained close relationships over years, thus opening a new chapter in Mark’s career, prompting him to form REIT Acquisition Advisors, Inc. in 2017.
Today, REIT AA, Inc. excels in placing equity efficiently by pursuing assets in a quiet, off-market manner. This results in less stress for the buyer and seller, along with decreased impact on property/leasing/management staff.
